I don’t think they got it wrong. You speak of that 80% (which is actually not that high) and it’s just a number. This article talks about the reasons these people have for not getting vaccinated. Fear often trumps rational thought. I bet even you had a time when fear made you irrational.

I think the interviewee made a good point that many of the unvaccinated are not rabid Trump minions. It is these people we need to focus on and honey catches more flies than vinegar.

Fear is a major reason. Those fears, misplaced as they may be, are a powerful motivator. F
