I really hate the use of sport as a political tool. Although I appreciate your progressive views, I cannot support your use and, yes, abuse of athletes to further a political agenda.

France won the World Cup, a wonderful team effort. Croatia, a small country, played their hearts out, coming from behind in multiple matches to almost become the second smallest nation to win sports' biggest prize.

Let’s not tarnish Croatia’s accomplishments with petty political point making. In my view both France and Croatia were winners last Sunday.
