Tessa, before you commit to this, please consider that many of the people that now follow you first found you through your comments on others works.

It’s hard to know what that actual count of followers may be, but limiting your exposure to readers seems self defeating to me.

Just my 2 cents and I know you care little for advice, but maybe a little more thought is warranted before making this decision.
